McLaren has prepared a special copy of the new GT (Grand Tourer) for the 2019 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance event in California, with which the McLaren Special Operations department is displaying personalization options.
The British say it is a car with racing performance, beautiful lightweight body, and that the modern interior provides the comfort and spaciousness that one would expect from a Grand Tourer.
It should also be mentioned that the luggage compartment volume is 420 liters, with 150 liters in the front, making a total of 570 liters.
This particular McLaren GT by MSO specimen has the MSO Defined Flux Silver color, contrasting MSO Satin Graphite elements on the exterior (front spoiler, sills, rear diffuser), and the MSO Satin Graphite Iron Brake Pliers, Chrome Plated Side Window Frame, Titanium Exhaust Pipe, Gloss Black Diamond Cut wheels (20 and 21 inches), as well as Flux White and Satin Graphite leather interiors, MSO Geoform seams, MSO mats, carbon fiber details, and the MSO logo on the headrests.
The engine is a 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 with 620hp and 630Nm, combined with a 7-speed SSG transmission. Bearing in mind that the curb weight is 1530 kg, the power/weight ratio is 405hp per ton.
With the launch control function, acceleration from 0-100 km/h takes 3.2 seconds, up to 200 km/h takes exactly 9.0 seconds, while the top speed is 326 km/h.
