If you are looking for the grandest, most luxurious private jet, we have good news for you…
For just $28 million, you can buy yourself a really special jumbo jet – the Japanese Air Force One. Boeing 747-400, which until recently transported the Japanese Prime Minister from one end of the world to the other, was put up for sale. Registered by the Japanese Defense Forces, the aircraft was constructed in 1991 and served fourteen Japanese prime ministers and rulers of this country. Despite being nearly three decades old, this custom jumbo jet is in immaculate condition.
According to the listing, it had only 13,569 landings and 16,332 flight hours, which is very small for the Boeing 747. “This is one of the least used Boeing 747-400 models in the world. It has been maintained to all the highest standards, so it looks new. It has a bedroom, shower, office and loggia. After the sale, the buyer will receive it after the final technical inspection and painting ”.
In terms of customization, the Japanese Air Force One has been modified to contain a bedroom, shower, office and lounge, along with eighty-five seats, which is higher than the US version of the seventy-seat aircraft. Commercial 747-400 models are typically configured to carry between 416 and 650 passengers. The aircraft is also equipped with rows of business seats and has a smaller cabin for the secretary.
