Back in July, information emerged that Ferrari would also launch an open version of the 812 Superfast in September. The information turned out to be correct since Ferrari was promoting the 812 GTS few days ago.
As with the newly introduced F8 Spider, the 812 GTS also has a folding hard top, opening/closing in 14 seconds at speeds up to 45 km/h.
The 1.6 kg heavy Ferrari 812 GTS is powered by a 6.5 liter V12 engine with 588 kW / 800hp at 8500 rpm. and 718 Nm at 7000 rpm, which means 123KS per liter of volume.
Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual clutch transmission.
The 812 GTS from 0 to 100 km/h accelerates in less than 3.0 seconds, takes up to 200 km/h in 8.3 seconds and can reach more than 340 km/h.
The car is 4693 mm long, 1971 mm wide, 1276 mm high, has a wheelbase of 2720 mm, and a displacement of 210 liters.
The wheels are 20 inches (tires 275/35 ZR 20 in the front and 315/35 ZR 20 in the rear) and there is a brake system with discs 398x223x38 mm in the front and 360x233x32 mm in the rear).
