Porsche unveiled a base version of the next-generation 911 (called 911 Carrera) in late July, and now has expanded the gama with its all-wheel-drive variant (911 Carrera 4).
Porsche 911 Carrera 4 will be available to customers in both Coupe and Cabrio versions, and both have a 3.0-liter 385hp and 450Nm (unlike the previously introduced more powerful 911 Carrera S with 450hp and 530Nm of torque).
911 Carrera 4 Coupe paired with an 8-speed PDK transmission from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) accelerates in 4.0 seconds and 3.8 seconds with the optional Sport Chrono Package (911 Carrera 4 Convertible for 4.2 seconds or 4.0 seconds with the Sport Chrono Package).
Top speed for the 911 Carrera 4 Coupe is 290 km/h, and for the 911 Carrera 4 Convertible slightly less – 288 km/h.
There are also 19- and 20-inch alloy wheels (optional 20 and 21-inch alloys), adaptive dampers, optional carbon-composite brakes, a sports exhaust, and a 10.9-inch infotainment system.
