It’s no secret that Ferrari has decided to extend its range with SUV model. The closest competition has already made it. Porsche has long been offering Cayenne, and Lamborghini has doubled sales with Urus.
We also know that the Ferrari model will be called Purosangue (purebred), and that model should be more powerful than the aforementioned Urus. In other words, it should set new standards when it comes to the performance of sports SUVs.
So far no one outside Maranello knows what this car will look like, but we can expect similarities to other Ferrari vehicles. In other words, sharp lines, an aggressive aero package, big wheels, etc. can be expected.
The latest information says it will be a 4-seater, built on a new architecture, with adjustable suspension and impressive driving dynamics on the roads and certain off-road capabilities.
The range will feature a hybrid version with V6 turbo petrol and electric motors (4×4 powertrain), and the V12 version will likely top it, as Ferrari remains committed to developing V12 units.
In the end, this model is expected to launch in 2022.
