The British carmaker is starting beekeeping. As of recently, Bentley is offering its own brand of honey.
There are several non-automotive products in Volkswagen. Remember the hotdogs with VW sign or Wolfsburg’s own ketchup brand? This was followed by Porsche, which started honey production, and now another brand, operating under the cap of the great Volkswagen, has started honey production.
By producing honey, Bentley wants to contribute to biodiversity in the UK’s Crewe, where the company’s headquarter is located. . Since May last year, Bentley has “employed” 120,000 bees and has already reached the enviable production of honey. The honey packaging itself is carefully designed to the smallest detail, just like the cars of this brand.
Honey will not be found alongside branded golf bags, clothing or coffee mugs, which Bentley offers as an option in its cars. Bentley retains honey primarily for its employees or for VIP clients, who come to Crewe to participate in creating details for their metal pet. It won’t be a surprise if Bentley later launches and sells his honey. This British company plans to expand production by adding more hives of honey.
