Whatever toothpaste tells you to maintain your teeth as regularly as possible, it should be on your shopping list, even if it costs you a hundred bucks…
Twice a day we perform the same menthol ritual – a few strokes up and down, rinsing and washing. Even though this experience is boring, it doesn’t bother most people because it really isn’t a great price to pay for a beautiful smile. Yet now, new toothpastes aim to take your daily experience to a whole new level of luxury, and at the same time, with its price.
With a combination of unique flavors and packaging that is likely to end on Instagram, the luxury toothpaste has arrived and is determined to conquer the entire world.
It’s a Theodent paste, which makes everyone else affordable, with its $125 price tag. Its tube, which contains 3.4 ounces of product, actually has a highly concentrated content. Originally launched in 2012, Theodent formula contains coconut grain, but has no sugar or coconut grease, nor does it taste like chocolate. Its second ingredient is an alternative to fluoride, called rennou. Rennou was discovered by a team of New Orleans researchers who concluded that it was actually creating microscopic crystals along with its tooth enamel.
Like its less expensive competitors, this toothpaste has a packaging that is a balm for the eyes. The concentrate comes in pastel pink and white tube, with elegant brand name and retro details.
Otherwise, last year, the global toothpaste market had an estimated value of $26 billion and is expected to reach $36 billion by 2024. Consequently, perhaps this luxury paste will become more popular than is believed.
