After joining forces to produce four special Vanquish-based models, Aston Martin and Zagato are once again collaborating on another interesting project.
These are DBS GT Zagato and DB4 GT Zagato Continuation cars that will be sold in pair for £6 million. Production will be limited to just 19 copies per model, and the idea behind the project is to mark the 100th anniversary of Zagato and nearly six decades of collaboration between the Italian design house and Aston Martin.

In addition to the new images, Aston Martin has also revealed more details about the DBS GT Zagato. Based on the DBS Superleggera model, the Zagato-designed version features a traditional double-bubble roof design, while the radiator grille, headlamps and rims create a visual connection to the classic 1960 DB4 GT Zagato.

DBS GT Zagato will take on Superlegger’s powerful 5.2-liter V12 twin-turbo engine, which is boosted here to 765hp. In the standard version, this is enough to accelerate to a maximum of 340 km/h.
As for the DB4 GT Zagato Continuation, it will use a 6-cylinder engine delivering 380hp, and the power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission with limited slip differential.

Aston Martin will begin shipping deliveries of the DB4 GT Zagato Continuation in the fourth quarter of 2019, while the DBS GT Zagato will begin arriving to customers from the fourth quarter of 2020.
