Dubai is known as a land of luxury, extravagance and wealth and definitely justifies it all day by day…
The famed Emirate soon unveiled its latest luxury offering – diamond-trimmed shoes costing a whopping $19.9 million. These shoes broke the record and became the most expensive in the world, while also receiving the highest ranking in the Guinness Book of Records.
Called the Moon Star Shoe, the shoes originated as the work of Italian designer, Antonio Vietri. They carry 30 carats of diamond, along with a small piece of the Campo del Cielo iron meteorite, discovered in Argentina in 1576. The multi-millionaire violet heels carry the Burj Khalifa homage, as each contains a mini-model of this building within its structure of pure gold.
This pair of shoes was unveiled as part of the Made in Italy, Designed in Emirates Fashion Week event, and can probably be called one of the most exotic creations with the signature of a famous designer.
With the extravagance that covers every part of them, Moon Star Shoe shoes, they are a dream come true for all fashion connoisseurs, and arguably the highest standard when it comes to luxury in the accessory world. Previously, the most expensive shoe in the world was the creation of Debbie Wingham, which carried bulky pink and blue diamonds, four flawless three-carat white diamonds and 1,000 fine stones, with a price tag of $15.1 million.
