Once again taking the lead in the watchmaking innovation race, Hublot has almost unveiled its new iteration of the Big Bang MP-11, which is made of SAXEM – Sapphire Aluminum oXid and rare Earth Mineral, the material never before used in this domain…
To create emerald-like material, Hublot combined aluminum oxide, a basic component of sapphire, with rare elements such as thulium, holmium and chromium.
SAXEM is a unique material that has no tension and is firmer than emerald, making it ideal for molding in the case of a one-hour case. Limited to just twenty units and waterproof to a depth of 30 meters, the Hublot Big Bang MP-11 SAXEM has a 45 mm diameter housing, which is contrasted with six H shaped, polished and sandblasted black titanium-based screws and a black titanium crown with rubber inserts.
Inside the case, there is a hand-wound skeletonized HUB9011 mechanism, with an energy reserve of two weeks. With more than 270 components, this watch is completed with green fluorescent curves and indexes, with anti-reflective sapphire glass and a black rubber strap with a black ceramic buckle.
Priced at $127,000, this ultra limited edition model is now available for purchase.
