Audi’s offer for the 2020 model year also includes a rear-drive R8 V10 RWD, which, unlike its predecessor, the R8 RWS will not be limited to just 999 units.
The 2020 Audi R8 V10 RWD will be available in Coupe and Spyder versions, with the announcement that sales in Europe will start early next year. Prices are also known, so the Coupe version costs €144,000 and the Spyder €157,000 (in both cases it’s €22,000 less than their Quattro variants).
The engine is powered by a 5.2 liter naturally aspirated V10 engine with 540hp and 540Nm of torque (30hp and 20Nm less than the V10 Quattro version), combined with a 7-speed S tronic transmission.
The R8 V10 RWD Coupe accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and can reach up to 320 km/h, while the R8 V10 RWD Spyder reaches 100 in 3.8 seconds and reaches a maximum of 318 km/h.
R8 V10 RWD Coupe with its 1595 kg is 65 kg lighter than the Quattro version, and the R8 V10 RWD Spyder has 1695 kg (55 kg less than the Quattro version).
The cars also received gloss black details (front spoiler, sills, rear diffuser), 19-inch wheels with 245 / 35-19 and 295/35 tires (optional 20-inch wheels will be offered) as well as new a color called Kemora gray.
Optionally, a Carbon package will be available and Spyder’s Black appearance package will also be available.
Audi also showed a refined version of the racing model R8 LMS GT4. Here, its 5.2-liter V10 engine has 495hp and is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
