Volkswagen’s legendary model has gone down in history for the second time after the production of a restored “Beetle” was recently halted. Still, the old, original “Beetle” continues to inspire car enthusiasts and two-wheelers alike.
Among them is Brent Walter, who used the iconic fender from “Beetle” as the body of his mini-motorcycles.
To the basic construction of these small two-wheelers with a 79cc engine, an element composed of the front and rear Beetle’s fenders was added.

The fenders were cut in the middle and welded, so that Beetle’s headlamp was retained as the front light of a motorcycle, while the stop light from a Volkswagen car became the rear light of a two-wheeler.
Brent has been building the two bikes since March of this year. “The original (green) has a 79cc motor and is more for looks than it is practical. The second (blue) one has more ground clearance and a 212cc motor. It is more practical to ride around on the road,” said Brent.
