Extravagant toilets are no longer something unusual and unexpected, but have become a part of our everyday lives…
Still, this trend is taking the gold-plated toilet bowl to a whole new level, with over 40,815 diamonds on its perimeter. A kind of gold throne has just been unveiled at the Shanghai Fair, and its price is expected to be $1.3 million.
The exclusive toilet is made by the Coronet brand, one of the Aaron Shum Jewelry brands. Thanks to its incredible specifications, the toilet bowl will get its place in the Guinness Book of World Records, for the most diamonds used on the toilet bowl.
However, we must emphasize that the toilet is not officially available for purchase, but is likely to be found in a museum where more people “can enjoy it”.
This is not the first time that news of the Golden Toilet has conquered the entire world. Earlier this year, a fine gold toilet called America was stolen from Blenhem Palace, Winston Churchill’s hometown. Similarly, in 2001, a Hong Kong businessman reportedly spent millions on a toilet that contained a gold toilet bowl.
If it qualifies for the Guinness Book of Records, the Coronet Gold Toilet will be their tenth record, as the celebrity brand already carries titles for most diamonds on its watch and purse.
