The rare Pagani Riviera was auctioned at Silverstone, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for $5.5 million.
Zonda Riviera began life as a Zonda F and was returned to the company’s Italian factory to be upgraded and mechanically enhanced. Modifications included include the installation of brand new carbon fiber body panels, a custom shawl, a premium rear wing, carbon fiber spoilers and blue details.
Under the hood, the 7.3-liter V12 engine has been upgraded to the point that it now delivers 750 hp. The engine upgrade is complemented by a custom exhaust system that ensures the V12 screams even louder. However, while this is a premium and unique car, its owner has decided to get rid of it and auction it.
The car is almost new and has traveled just over 700 kilometers, and due to its rarity, it was auctioned off in Saudi Arabia for a huge sum of money. The new car owner is unknown, but it is believed to be a Saudi prince who has decided to treat himself with the new expensive toy.
