For another unique Pagani Zonda, the new owner splashed out $6,812,000 at auction in Abu Dhabi.
The unique white Zonda Riviera, auctioned in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) a few days ago by its new owner, raised $5,885,000 is no longer the most expensive Zonda sold, as it is another well-loved automotive exotic fan at a similar auction held in Abu Dhabi for Zonda. Aether raised $6,812,000.
Also, a unique specimen of Zonda is named after the air above the clouds, and Pagani produced the car in 2017. The black carbon body, emblazoned with red detailing, bears some of the elements of the Zonda Cinque, and the green button to launch AMG’s 12-cylinder 7.3-liter “monster” behind is “borrowed” from the Zonda R.
The engine develops 750 horsepower at 8,000 rpm, and the peculiarity of Aether is that the transmission to the rear axle is done through a manual 6-speed gearbox, as most Zondi are delivered to customers in combination with a dual-clutch automatic transmission.
