Dutch builder Heesen delivered the 180-foot Vida following sea trials that clocked the Van Oossanen Naval Architects–designed, fast-displacement-hull yacht at a top speed of 16.4 knots.
The third launch in the builder’s 55-meter FDHD Steel Class series, Vida features interior and outdoor features to die for. For the interior design was in charge the Be Design team working closely with the shipyard’s interior architectural structure penned by Francesco Paszkowski and Margerita Casprini. The result is a comfortable but sophisticated ambiance thanks to the use of natural materials and finishes along with a soft and warm color palette.
Twelve guests are accommodated in five suites located on the lower deck and an 861-square-foot (80-square-meter) owner’s stateroom set forward on the main deck. Further, a stunning backlit onyx arch in the main saloon will guarantee a wow effect when boarding Vida.
The outdoor areas are equally stunning and offer guests plenty space to relax including by the pool that features a mesmerizing waterfall. At night, this space becomes the perfect party area complete with a large and fully equipped bar and a colorful ambience created by the pool’s LED lights.
At 180 feet (55 meters) and 740 gross tons, Vida offers a maximum speed of 16 knots and frugal fuel consumption that gives a range of 4,500 nautical miles at 13 knots, thanks to the progressive hull design devised by van Oossanen Naval Architects.
