Original Ford Mustang used to make the movie “Bullitt” in 1968 and which was then driven by the then-popular actor Steve McQueen (1930-1980) is ready for auction.
Mecum Auctions company will offer it for sale in Kissimmee, a small town in Florida, with no “reserve” – without the minimum price required by the owner.
The original “beautifully patinated” Mustang has been in the same family for decades.

However, according to a recent report from the Blumberg Agency, it was decided not to be sold at any of the typical expensive and famous auction houses, but at Mecum Auctions, on Friday at an auction in the town of Kissimmee.
Mecum has a reputation for selling high-power American sports cars and Mustangs from the same era, and many are interested in this type of car, which has often been to many auctions of that house across the United States.
This unique Mustang, which for many collectors is the “holy grail”, has spent the last year touring the world after its stunning debut at the Detroit Auto Show.
Given the history of the Bullitt Mustang, it is difficult to determine the price, but some experts still estimate it would be as much as four million dollars. Others say the classic car market has declined in the last year or two, and they expect significantly less.
