Harley-Davidson Fat Boy is celebrating its thirtieth birthday this year, and in honor of that anniversary, the Milwaukee giant has prepared a special edition.
Harley-Davidson Fat Boy 30th Anniversary model will be powered by a Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine, with a volume of 1,868 cubic meters, and is planned to produce a total of 2,500 copies.
In a dark edition and with bronze trim details, the new version looks extremely attractive, with the overall appearance accentuated by aluminum Lakester wheels.
“Fat Boy has taken on the look, dimensions and silhouette of a Hydra-Glide motorcycle from the late 1940s, while being completely modernized for new generations of riders who have been drawn to simple, contemporary industrial design,” said Brad Richards, one of the company’s vice presidents.
“With this special issue, we wanted to create something special, and a slightly darker look is a reflection of our desire to truly make the motorcycle unique and exclusive.”
The planned price for US buyers will be $21,949 (approximately €20,000).
