During last year’s SIHH exhibition, watch brand, Girard-Perregaux refreshed its classic and sporty Laureato line, presenting the new Laureato Absolute collection…
Late last year, the famous brand debuted with a limited-edition model, Laureato Absolute Rock – the first production model to feature revolutionary Carbon Glass material. For this year, Girard-Perregaux has another magnificent trick up its sleeve, which is also thematically tied to the notion of transparency.
Called Laureato Absolute Light, this brand’s latest watch has a 44mm diameter case with a thickness of 11.5mm, created using a combination of sapphire and titanium. Transparency is achieved from multiple angles by using a sapphire case, which gives the watch an incredibly appealing aesthetic. In addition, the materials make this watch really lightweight, offering incredible comfort to your wrist.
The transparency of the case is continued on the model’s open dial, which offers an unobstructed view of the skeletonized GP01800 mechanism, which operates at a frequency of 4 Hz and offers a 54-hour power reserve.
Anthracite bridges with NAC treatment and the main part of the mechanism contain four different finishing details. The modern theme of the watch is further accompanied by a rubber-strap belt that seamlessly integrates it with its design.
For now, there is no word yet on the price of this model, but we know that only 88 copies will be available for purchase.
