Jeep has become the latest carmaker to opt for e-bikes.
The American brand unveiled its upcoming e-bike at the Super Bowl recently held. Like other car makers that have been issued e-bikes for the past few years, Jeep has partnered with an e-bike maker on this project to succeed in creating a new vehicle. It was QuietKat who teamed up with Jeep to launch a new version of the electric bike.
Jeep has not revealed anything about the electric bike so far, but QuietKat has revealed some details about the new bike on its official website. The description says the Jeep bike has a 750-watt motor and will be able to reach a range of 40 miles with a single charge. The bike is powered by an engine built by Chinese company Bafang, which with a top-of-the-line 52V e-bike battery puts out a maximum power of 1600 W. We will wait for Jeep to officially reveal all the specifications and other details that are expected to come out this spring before than the electric bike launches in June, but this is expected to be a popular means of transportation that many will want to have.
