German luxury goods maker Montblanc has launched its first-ever headphones intended for mostly male travelers with luxury business lifestyles.
Bearing that in mind, headphones feature Qualcomm’s aptX tech, Google Assistant, Google Fast Pair, active noise cancellation and luxury materials. These include a premium steel design covered in soft sheep skin leather. Instead of fiddly touch controls, it features hardware buttons to activate features such as Google Assistant.
The headphones have a battery life of just over 20 hours on a single charge, and are available in three different colours: black leather with chrome metal finish, brown leather with a gold-coloured metal finish and light grey leather with polished metal finish. You just need $595.
In addition to this smart headphones, Montblanc also launched Summit 2+ smartwatch which follows on from the Summit 2.
It retains the standard Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 SoC and a 410 mAh battery but its case is larger at 43.5 mm (up from 42 mm). It also picks up LTE and eSIM support for Verizon’s network in the US while it comes in a new vintage finish in bronze case with coordinated green leather strap. Apart from some custom dials and premium materials, there isn’t a lot you won’t find on a regular Google Wear OS watch. This gadget will cost you $1,170.
