In the US, a racing Ferrari 308 GT2 with fiberglass body is offered for sale, and the new owner will have to splash out a dizzying $695,000.
Just like other models 308 from that time, this 1976 GTB was prepared for competition by Ferrari car dealer Michelotto from Padua. It was then bought by American Warren Mosler, who transported it to the USA where he competed in the IMSA GTU Championship.
In the 1980s, it was modified to SCCA GT2 specifications and has participated in the SCCA Nations series for nearly 20 years. He also had a poster for Jim Beam whiskey in the late 1980s.
Later in 1997 and 1998 the car participated at the National Champonship Runoffs Competition and won 4th and 9th, even 20 years after it was produced. It is currently wearing stickers that come from that competition.
