For this year, famous brand has announced two new variants of its skeletonized model, which comes with several aesthetic enhancements that give it an added dose of contemporary appeal. The new and upgraded Grande Seconde Skelet-One retains the same body dimensions of 41.5mm x 12.48mm, with the overall 2663 SQ architecture.
The off-center dial is made of sapphire and together with the oversized seconds display represents figures of eight, which is also an aesthetic arrangement that is at the heart of the brand’s celebrity identity. Previous models had Roman numerals in hours and minutes display, with Arabic to display seconds, the novelty received applications for indexes and a ring without numbers that monitors the activity of the mechanism.
Two new housing materials have been unveiled for this year – Plasma Ceramics and Red Gold. While red gold is close to the original version launched two years ago, the Plasma-Ceramic model is unique and combines metallic features coupled with ceramic qualities.
The red gold version was paired with an alligator leather strap, while the ceramic variant received a gray handmade textile strap. The gold version will cost you about 32,000 Swiss francs, while the ceramic version is available at a price of 22,500 Swiss francs.
