What is the figure you would pay to enjoy a dinner with your favorite player? Well, in case that player is Tom Brady that price is $800,000. Yes, the new Bucs quarterback donated a whole package which includes, among other things, the aforementioned dinner as part of the All-In Challenge to raise money for coronavirus relief.
The package raised a whopping $800,000, the most of any item that’s concluded in the auction. The starting bid was $50,000, and it received 32 bids.
Beside dinner, the package included four tickets to Brady’s first home game with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the quarterback’s jersey and cleats from the game and a workout in lieu of the promised dinner afterward.
In addition to Brady’s package, other auction items included a game of golf and dinner with NFL Super Bowl winner Peyton Manning, which closed at $525,000 and a day out with Hall of Famer Magic Johnson which attracted a bid of nearly $100,000. The proceeds from the auction were directed to Feeding America, Meals on Wheels, World Central Kitchen and No Kid Hungry.
