Elon Musk mocks in an unusual way the people who bet on Tesla’s bad business.
The eccentric billionaire included branded women’s shorts in his company’s offer, which he sells at a price of 69,420 US dollars.
A few days ago, Musk announced on Twitter that his company would offer for sale a limited series of sexy red satin shorts, called “Tesla Short Shorts“.
The gold-rimmed garment bears the inscription “S3XY”, as a designation for the Model S, 3, X and Y cars that Tesla has to offer.
In a brief description, customers are invited to “celebrate summer, run like the wind or entertain others like Liberace, relax by the pool or in the comfort of their home all year round.”
The price of $69,420 was pointed out on Tesla’s website, and the fact that it was only available in size XL on Monday morning shows how much interest there was from buyers, and today the site posted a notice that this limited series of shorts was sold out.
Musk has previously offered unusual goods in a limited number of copies. Two years ago, Tesla sold a line of surfboards, and Mask’s other company, Boring Company, sold a flamethrower called “Not a Flamethrower.”
But this time, the eccentric billionaire mocks those who bet on falling Tesla stock prices. It is known that Musk does not have a good opinion of them.
The offer of Tesla’s exclusive sexy shorts arrived after the company announced business results that exceeded analysts’ expectations, and the price of its shares increased by ten percent.
