Naim, along with its stablemate Focal, have been creating deluxe audio systems for the Bentley car range since 2008. Now the companies are moving closer together with two new luxury audio products. The first one is the Naim Mu-so for Bentley Special Edition, which is an exclusive version of the popular Mu-so 2nd Generation wireless music player with aesthetics inspired by Bentley cars. It is made from Ayous, a sustainable African hardwood that has been stained and lacquered to give it a dark finish. This is complemented by the anodized copper heat sink, a smoked acrylic plinth, a copper-threaded speaker grille, and a tactile volume dial that’s finished with a signature Bentley lattice design surrounding that illuminates to the touch.
Focal for Bentley Radiance deluxe headphones are designed and built at Focal’s Saint Étienne factory, in France. The Radiance are a closed- back headphones and incorporate Focal’s advanced M-shaped neodymium driver technology and are made with high-quality materials. It uses soft, breathable Pittards gloving leather for the earcups that also feature the reoccurring lattice design, as well as the highest quality leather hides for the padded headband. Bentley’s winged logo graces the side of the earphones just above the cups, appearing once more in copper.
Focal claims that the Reliance headphones make an ideal partner for the Naim Mu-so. You just need $2,199 for the Naim Mu-so, while the Focal Radiance headphones will cost you $1,300.
