In celebration of International Women’s Day, Breguet unveils two captivating additions to its Classique collection – the “Starlit Night” and the “Stunning Sight,” redefining the brand’s traditional tourbillon watches with a feminine touch.
Starlit Night: A Celestial Symphony in White Gold
Immerse yourself in the celestial beauty of the “Starlit Night,” a white gold masterpiece reminiscent of a serene night sky. The varnished blue mother-of-pearl dial sets the stage for an off-centered subdial adorned with rhodium-plated gold hands. Five applied white gold stars grace the dial, with six larger stars set with brilliant-cut diamonds. The pièce de résistance is the one-minute tourbillon, showcased through an aperture at the bottom, anchored by a shooting star-shaped bridge embellished with 45 diamonds and a central blue spinel.
The 35mm by 9.43mm case is a canvas of brilliance, with brilliant-cut diamonds adorning the bezel, lugs, and clasp. A rose-cut diamond crowns this masterpiece. The timepiece comes alive on a midnight blue alligator strap, secured by a triple-folding gold clasp set with 42 diamonds.
Stunning Sight: Rose Gold Radiance
The “Stunning Sight” in rose gold lives up to its name, featuring a dial blanketed with 281 diamonds. Snow-set diamonds fill the white mother-of-pearl chapter ring, and graduated diamonds radiate from the tourbillon on either side. The tourbillon bridge, a curved band of rose gold, is adorned with 14 diamonds and a ruby pivot.
Turn the watch over to reveal the manual-winding 187 D movement, visible through a sapphire caseback. Engraved with the brand name, movement number, and “Brevet 7 Messidor An IX,” this movement beats at 2.5Hz, offering a 50-hour power reserve.
Both watches come with exquisite alligator straps – midnight blue for the “Starlit Night” and red for the “Stunning Sight.” Fastened by triple-folding gold clasps with 42 diamonds, these timepieces are water-resistant to 30m, solidifying their place in Breguet’s permanent collection.
