Château de Sannes is 17th century estate is located in the hills of of France’s famed Provence. This amazing 136 acres property has been listed for sale via Christie’s International Real Estate. Christie’s has not released the asking price, but reports in the French press note it has been set at about $35 million.
Château de Sannes, surrounded by glorious views of the Luberon mountains, is one of France’s finest estates. A long private driveway, shaded by cherry trees and under planted with blue irises, leads to the peaceful grounds of about 55 hectares, surrounding the château. An abundance of cypresses and ancient Cedar of Lebanon trees are interspersed throughout the grounds, surrounded by olive groves, a truffle plantation, wheat and lavender fields, and extensive woodland. The estate also produces high-quality grapes from its vineyards comprising about 80 acres.
