Launched in July 2010 as Perini Navi’s 50th vessel, this sailing yacht Melek is still a real head turner wherever shows up. Stunning 56 metre rigged yacht designed by Ron Holland and constructed by Perini Navi, is a natural evolution in the popular 56 metre series, since it is equipped with two aluminium masts and carbon fibre booms for a sail plan of approx 1.500 square metres.
The interior design is a combination of tradition and innovation with a classic-modern significant and determined style. . The open-air living area features two huge “L” shaped sofa’s, an al fresco dining area, retractable TV screens and plenty of storage area concealed within the furniture. On the flying bridge there is an ample sunbathing area, a beautiful round Jacuzzi, probably the best looking Jacuzzi ever seen on a sailing yacht. The elegance of cherry with walnut inlays is enhanced by the use of leather, wenge, brushed spruce and parchment.
The main saloon is an open space rounded off in the corners by leather-panelled cabinets. At the centre of the saloon there is an unusual three-ramp staircase: the two lateral ramps mirror each other and lead down to the guest deck, the central ramp leads to the flying bridge.
