The Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel has completed the first phase of a two-part, $7-million renovation. Phase one included a complete, top-to-bottom renovation of its 212 guestrooms and suites, while phase two will completely transform the hotel’s lobby, signature restaurant, extensive function space and amenities. The entire refurbishment process is expected to be complete by September 2017.
Located on the grounds of Portland International Airport (PDX) at 8235 NE Airport Way, the five-story hotel is convenient to both downtown Portland, Ore., and Vancouver, Wash., as well as scenic Mount Hood. Guests can relax in the hotel”s indoor heated pool, jacuzzi or sauna or exercise in the 24-hour fitness center. The hotel also provides a fully equipped business center and 17 meeting rooms boasting 22,500 square feet of flexible, state-of-the-art meeting space.
Guest rooms have been entirely transformed with a designer”s touch. All rooms now feature the all-new Sheraton Signature™ Beds and marble countertops, as well as contemporary artwork and furnishings.
Thoughtful enhancements, including numerous charging stations throughout the room and new headboards with read lamps, have been added to enhance the guest experience further.
Dining options will include the Rose & Compass restaurant and bar, an updated lobby coffee shop serving Starbucks coffee and grab-and-go items, and NorthStar, a private event space.
