For the bikers who are in search for help in spicing up the speed of their bikes, check out the Factor 001 Road Bike. The Formula 1 engineers from BERU f1systems have created perhaps not only the best bicycle on the planet but possibly the most exclusive one as well.
The bike will spot the fiber monocoque frame which has sophisticated load sensors, wiring, batteries, control cables and lines for its hydraulic braking system. Its unique twin-vein architecture can be adjusted to within a millimeter to suit the rider’s measurements and typical riding position. The bike also features a twin-vein architecture Shimano Di2 electronic gearshift and optional carbon ceramic disc brakes.
Weighing just 7.4 kg, the high-tech bike features a fully integrated, multi-channel ergonometric data recording system to track your athletic performance by collecting and analyzing laboratory-quality data in a real-word environment.
John Bailey, the managing director of BERU f1systems explained: Every carbon composite component of the bike is crafted in-house, drawing upon the same techniques used to produce Formula One components. Each model takes six highly skilled engineers a week to make. With only a limited number of bikes due to be built, we expect Factor 001 to become a desirable collector’s item.
Made with the BERU f1systems patented technology, Factor 001 Road Bike will see only 100 pieces. This exceptional bike is currently on show at the London Science Museum.
