The official premiere of the new Cadillac XT5 will be held in November this year at the Los Angeles Auto Show and Dubai Car Show, and in the meantime here are some new details and images. New XT5 continues with design which we already seen on the model Escalade, CTS and CT6, with big front grille and distinctive lights. Cadillac XT5 is based on a new GM platform, so the XT5 is 126 kg lighter than its predecessor, model SRX.
Depending on the market, the range of engines will be 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo gasoline engine and 3.6-liter V6 with 310 HP paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Cadillac XT5, as standard, will offer front-wheel drive, and optionally with drive to all four wheels. Customers will, among other things, be able to get, rear back camera, Apple CarPlay & Android compatibility, as well as the new CUE infotainment system.
Production of the Cadillac XT5 start in spring 2016, and prices will be announced later.
