We’ve already informed you that Van Eaton Galleries will host an extraordinary auction called “Collecting Disneyland” which includes a vast array of Disneyland artifacts. During nine day auction Disney fans have a chance to see and to bid for many memorabilia from actual attraction vehicles to quirky and unusual items from the park and the very beginning of Walt Disney’s idea of “the most magical place on earth.”
Among some of the more unusual and quirky items from Disneyland and Walt Disney World to be offered are original props, souvenirs and items from “dining at Disneyland.” Highlights include Original Concept Art for The Magic Kingdom Silver Pass (Estimate $300-$500), Original Blueprints from The Magic Kingdom’s Peter Pan’s Flight Attraction (Estimate $3,000-$5,000), an Original Splash Mountain Ride Model (Estimate $2,000-$4,000), an Indiana Jones Adventure Attraction Model by John Stone (Estimate $12,000-$17,000), original Mickey Mouse Club Talent Round up Costume (Estimate $5,000- $7,000), a vast array of celebratory and attraction-based official patches (Estimates Various), Disneyland Security
Officer Badge (Estimate $300-$500), a Jungle Cruise Cast Member costume (Estimate $400-$600), a Lion King Cast Member Parade Jacket (Estimate $200-$400), an extremely rare Original Prop Ear from the animatronic Impala in the Jungle Cruise Attraction (Estimate $1,500-$2,000) and an actual Audio Animatronic A-1 Mechanical Frame (Estimate $80,000-$100,000).

The collection is currently on display at Van Eaton Galleries located at 13613 Ventura Blvd in Sherman Oaks, and will go up for auction on Saturday, November 21st.
