At AGRITECHNICA in Hanover, the world’s largest trade fair for agricultural machinery and equipment, Zetor debuted a prototype of a tractor with design signed by Pininfarina. And if the news ended here, it would be already interesting. However, this prototype is announcement of turning point in Zetor’s business which, incidentally, is celebrating 70 years of existence. Future models of Zetor will be aesthetically significantly more modern and trimmer, and in which direction design will go shows exactly this concept.
During the premiere of a new tractor, Zetor’s representative has confirmed that all new models have something to do with this concept and thus will be more emotional, more dynamic and ultimately more modern. It is a modular design solutions that allow easy application on different products. Zetor plans expansion of gamma that will accompany significantly strengthens the distribution network.
The most striking is the front end of a tractor which clearly shows that it is a powerful machine. Modern lighting circuits complements the large louver forward, and there is always an attractive black and red color combination. The same are combined so that the black color is applied to the functional parts, and red on aesthetics. Glass surfaces are large and further dimmed.
Pininfarina did its job so well that many will at least for a moment forget the original purpose of tractors and think about the possible acceleration and maximum speed.
Wrong, tractor must serve faithfully in the field and good looks can’t hurt.
And this is just the beginning of cooperation between the renowned Czech producers and the Italian stylists.
