For the past three years, Paolo Mastrogiuseppe has successfully made Espresso Veloce, an espresso machine in the form of a Grand Prix motor. Now, talented designer and engineer decided to move onto a completely different configuration. He says: “The engine is the heart of an aircraft, but the pilot is its soul.” As a tribute to these aviators, he has introduced Aviatore Veloce, – modern jet engine that functions as a coffee and tea dispenser. This timeless masterpiece that kick-starts your day by dispensing a fine cup of your favorite beverage is made from aerospace grade alloys.
The Aviatore Veloce’s mechanicals are simple to operate. It is just a case of sliding open the turbine shell exposing the internal workings and three litre titanium water tank – that resembles a cascade-type reverse thruster – opening up a filter housing which holds your coffee grinds or tea leaves (you could also use coffee or tea bags), then closing it and pushing the volumetric programmable buttons to dispense your favourite brew into your cup.
Another feature of the Aviatore Veloce are the turbine blades that actually turn at a steady and safe 38rpm when the device is switched on.
Weighing in at 28kg and with the dimensions of 800mm in length and standing 480mm high, the patented Aviatore Veloce conforms to worldwide health and electrical safety regulations.
Further, each masterpiece is individually numbered and only 100 units will be produced globally.
