Shirley Temple’s diamond ring is something that you can now buy, although there is no official price. In fact, you can give your bid for it. In April this year, this ring with amazing blue diamond will be sold by Sotheby’s where is expected to fetch between $25 million and $35 million. However, this ring is worth every penny, because it comes with 9.54-carat Fancy Deep Blue diamond, which don’t exist anywhere else, nor may find a duplicate.
It was purchased by Temple’s father for $7,210 in 1940, around the time of the actress’ 12th birthday and when her film “The Blue Bird” premiered, making it even more valuable.
Shirley was the most popular twelve-year in show business all over the world. Her ring has survived the Great Depression, when many people sold all their valuables in order to survive.
In the end, the ring was in its possession until her death in 2014. A private buyer bought the ring from her estate and is now putting it up for auction which will be held on April 19 as part of Sotheby’s Magnificent Jewels sale.
