Chinese Qiantu Motors took the opportunity at the Beijing Auto Show to promote the production version of the electric sports car Qiantu K50 Coupe, and is also exposed its Roadster version. Qiantu K50 is otherwise announced two years ago, when shown in the concept release. The car is powered by two electric motors with a total 408 hp and 680 Nm (one on the front axle and the other on the rear), maximum speed is 200 km/h, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 4.6 seconds, and autonomy on a single charge battery pack is about 300 km.
The car weighs 1900 kg, while the dimensions are set as follows: length 4628 mm, width 2064 mm and 2650 mm wheelbase.
Qiantu Motors is currently building a new factory in Suzhou, which will initially have a capacity of about 50,000 vehicles per year, which in addition to K50 Coupe and Roadster from 2017 will produce two more electric vehicles.
K50 Coupe will otherwise be on sale later this year, at a cost of about 700,000 yuan ($108,000).
