Giorgio Armani are launching a duo of perfumes for women inspired by the complementary cool and warm elements air and sun. The scent of pure Mediterranean was closed in two new perfume bottles joining more iconic Aqua di Gioia, which was launched in 2010. Sun di Gioia opens on top notes of Mandarin, Neroli and Red pepper leading to a heart of Orange blossom, Peony and Ylang-ylang while the base rests on Moss, Musk and Patchouli. Sun di Gioia is a warm, feminine scent that transfers the atmosphere of summer, and the feeling of happiness produced by the first sunlight on the skin.
Air di Gioia starts with Bergamot, Freesia and Marine notes seguing into a heart of Frangipani, Jasmine sambac absolute and Ylang-ylang while the base creates a finish of Ambrox, Iris and Coconut milk. Air di Gioia is dedicated to the element of air and is aimed at the free, unpredictable woman. The new release reportedly evokes a sensation of the scent of freedom.
Acqua di Gioia (2010) is a blend of refreshing notes of crushed mint leaves and lemon Limone Primo Fiore Femminello from Calabria. Structure of the composition pushes the limits from fresh citruses to a floral heart which encompasses aquatic jasmine, dewy peony and pink pepper, while a base closes with cedar, yellow sugar and labdanum. Composition of the perfume is compared with woman who is ”strong, dignified and free spirit but in perfect harmony with nature”.
