RM Sotheby’s confirmed that 1958 Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spider will be offered next month at its Monterey auction. As stated in a brief news, this is the 11th of only 50 copies produced, which otherwise won Emeritus Cup at this year’s Cavallino Classic. The car was manufactured in November 1958, and in January 1962 competed in the Osceloa Grand Prix in Florida.
No pre-auction estimate has been announced, but recently, a 1959 example was sold by Gooding & Company for $7.7 million while a slighter rare SWB model sold for over $17 million.
