World’s first Louis XIII boutique just opened its doors – in Beijing at Shin Kong Place (SKP), the upscale shopping mall. With a Salon and a Boutique, LOUIS XIII takes brand connoisseurs far beyond cognac to offer them a wave of sensations, emotions and experiences. “It’s a big day for Louis XIII—and a big day for the world of wine and spirits, as well as luxury brands in general. It’s a worldwide premiere. Everyone will see what Louis XIII is doing in the world of wine and spirits, and even beyond that. Today, Louis XIII does not simply belong in the Cognac category. It’s a lifestyle luxury brand,” says Ludovic du Plessis, the global executive director of Louis XIII Cognac.
By opening LOUIS XIII Boutique in Shin Kong Place, the cognac brand ensures that its clients are those who can afford authentic and quality products. Also, they will be able to interact with the clientele and better understand them and to deliver the best experience ever.
“Louis XIII cognac is an icon of French art de vivre and excellence. With this world-premiere, Louis XIII is changing the rules of the game in spirits, posing the founding stone of a new chapter in its history,” said Eric Vallat, CEO of the House of Rémy Martin.
The 132-square-meter of space which occupies the second floor of SKP includes a salon, a retail area, and the invitation-only “Eternity Room.” The salon greets the guests with a glass of Louis XIII while a retail area offers all variants of Louis XIII crystal decanters – from the miniature bottles to the Mathusalem. The invitation-only Eternity Room is reserved for loyal clients and can be used as a tasting room of sorts for previews of upcoming releases.
