After the teaser video and spy photos of masked test specimens, Lamborghini has officially unveiled the renovated Aventador.
In the name, the car receaved the letter S, while the most significant changes include the sleek aerodynamic package, more aggressive front, rear diffuser SV style, active rear spoiler (with three position settings), new exhaust system with three tailpipes (otherwise the system 20 percent lighter than the previous one), as well as the control and all-wheel drive (which will make the car more agile at low and medium speeds, and stable at high speeds).
This not the end, because part of a package of changes make the new Pirelli P Zero tires (to improve maneuverability and traction), series carbon-ceramic brakes, a new digital instrument panel, standard Apple CarPlay (with optional telemetry system), as well as improved 6,5 liter engine.
The latter means that the V12 power unit is enhanced from 700hp to 740hp, while maximum torque remained 690 Nm.
Transmission is otherwise seven-speed ISR, and a drive is on all four wheels.
Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 2.9 seconds and a top speed is 350 km/h.
Deliveries of the Aventador S will begin next spring, with its price in Europe is 281 555 euros.
