Beautiful perfect handiwork is shown in pen that are created with the help of the Japanese art form Chinkin (gold inset) and the Urushi (lacquer). The collection is limited edition and is a true work of art of superior Japanese craftsmanship. The technique Chinkin uses the special and the finest chisels with which carve forms that are later lacquered.

After that, the forms are filled with gold dust from 18K gold. Once the form gets proper fullness, they are polished with the special Japanese Washi paper. The origin of Chinkin art leads from Wajima prefecture since the 13th century and is popular outside of Japan, particularly in China, where is called “Sokin”.
