Extraction Lab, a new shop located in the Industry City complex of Brooklyn’s Sunset Park neighborhood offers the most expensive cup of coffee in the U.S.A. and it’ll cost you $18. You might say it’s a lot of money, but a spot in Brooklyn is saying their pricey java is worth it, like a fine bottle of wine. Extraction Lab serves as the headquarters of craft coffee brewer Alpha Dominche, which uses steam and computer-powered vacuums to produce a brand of high-end coffee makers dubbed “Steampunk.”

Their Ethiopian Arabica coffee is grown in Panama and made in one of two $7,000 Steampunsk. It was already sold out for the day!
The previous holder of the title the most expensive cup of coffee was San Francisco’s Blue Bottle, which sells a cup for $16.
