French shipyard Couach Yacht presents the new explorer yacht concept called Couach 3800 Lounge. She is a part of the new Lounge Collection available in sizes of 42m and 45m, alongside the 38m model. is a creation by the in-house designer Clément Carbonne. 3800 Lounge has been designed to be a “yacht without borders”, referring to both its long-range cruising capabilities and the seamless transition from interior to exterior spaces.
The designer’s aim is for the owner and guests to forget they are on a yacht, and instead to focus on the luxurious amenities and environment. It has resulted in a modern and uncluttered living space that reflects how owners live ashore, translating it to the unique marine surroundings.
The yacht has features like floor-to-ceiling windows for a maximum of natural light in the interior, a beach club with a glass door to offer a relaxed viewpoint when the yacht is underway.
Accommodation is for up to ten guests, including a main-deck owner’s cabin, as well as three doubles and a twin on the lower deck.
Storage for a tender is in a garage between lounge/beach area at the aft and the accommodation on the lower deck. Another storage for toys is under the foredeck.
The 3800 a fully customizable flybridge. There are options like a wet bar, kitchen station, Jacuzzi, lounge and dining area.
Power would come from a pair of 1,100hp Scania DI16 engines for a top speed of 17 knots and a maximum cruising range of 3,900 nautical miles at ten knots.
