From Mercedes-AMG to Lexus and Aston Martin companies, car manufacturers are constantly searching for the marketing value that can connect their design and the name of the boat creations. Honda, which even holds a separate marine division since 1964, also can’t resist this trend, but instead creates a yacht, she revealed to the world the conceptual design of engine that draws its inspiration from the model NSX, a hybrid sports car, which is on sale under the Acura franchise in North America, and as Honda in many other countries around the world.
Dubbed Honda Marine Design Concept Engine, this boat engine has its world premiere next to redesigned Honda Marine BF40 and BF50 engines on the International Boat Show in Miami.
NSX reference to, higher than usual boat engine include thermal channels with interlaced design and black networks in the form of a honeycomb, the rotating propeller and Nouvelle Blue Pearl paint, although Honda company claims that it can be painted in any shade.
For now, Honda claims there is no a certain factory that will implement design of their production engines, but they will most likely cause a very positive reactions on users to whole concept.
