One of the greatest rappers of all time, Tupac Amaru Shakur, was on the front passenger seat of the BMW 750iL when he was shot, and the car is now offered for sale. Tupac was driving in the BMW 750iL from 1996, together with the founder of the company Death Row Records, Suge Knigh in the evening of 7 September 1996, and went to a boxing match between Bruce Seldon and Mike Tyson.

When luxury sedan stopped at traffic lights in the center of Las Vegas, next to it stopped the white Cadillac from which gunmen opened fire, and Tupac was shot several times, namely, twice in the chest, once in the arm and once in the groin. The famous rapper died six days later in the hospital, when he was 25 years old. Suge Knight was wounded, and the police has not found the perpetrators of the attack.
BMW Series 7 has 144.840 km on its odometer and is offered for sale for $1.5 million. After a shootout it was seized by the police, and then changed several owners. The car was restored, but many bullet marks are still noticeable in the door panels.

The connection to the rapper is a major factor for huge price, because similar cars can be purchased in the US for less than $10,000.
One of Tupac’s car, Hummer H1 from 1996, was sold a year ago at an auction for $337,144 dollars. The price is more than three times higher than expected.
