The Float table is a matrix of “magnetized” wooden cubes that levitate with respect to one another. The repelling cubes are held in equilibrium by a system of tensile steel cables. Just because the Float table reacts when you push down on it, does not mean that it isn’t functional. It is indeed strong enough to support the weight of the usual items that one would place on a regular coffee table, like books, and drinks.
