With its 110-facet case, the Octo Finissimo Tourbillon Skeleton is daring but with a sense of due measure thanks to balanced proportions and its exceptional thinness.
Thanks to a remarkably clever movement layout and, of course, extremely thin components everywhere, the Bulgari BVL268 Finissimo caliber packs its 253 parts into a 32.60mm-wide and 1.95mm-thick, less-than-wafer-thin layer.

Also, significant development for this watch is how the barrel remains in position guided by three ball bearings around the outer edge. Straight-grained baseplate and bridges with black Diamond Like Carbon (D.L.C.) coating hold in place the circular satin-brushed gear wheels and the mesmerising flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock.

Powering indications of the hours and minutes, the exceptional movement beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers a comfortable 62-hour power reserve.
Water-resistant to 30 metres / 100 feet, the 40 mm case is crafted from platinum and enhanced by a platinum crown with ceramic insert.

Bulgari even had to make the alligator strap considerably thinner than the ones matched to the regular Octo case, as otherwise it would be thicker than the 5.00mm-thick case. The end result is a watch that wears almost like a bracelet and, despite its platinum case, is almost unrealistically comfortable.
