Zu Audio Dominance Speakers
A first look at Zu Audio’s new Dominance speaker shows a TFFFT array of two tweeters flanking three paralleled widebanders set into a concave aluminum baffle. Not visible is the big 15-inch downfiring woofer. Each driver for Zu’s new flagship speaker has its own specifically tuned cylindrical enclosure, giving over the rest of the cabinet’s internal volume to the bottom-ported passive subwoofer.
Priced at $40,000 the speakers offer 101dB efficiency with 6-ohm impedance, and the sound bandwidth is listed at 14Hz – 20kHz with a power handling capacity of 2 to 900 watts.
