Minimalism is on the top of the trends when it comes to interior design, decoration and even fashion …
This direction is popular for several years and it seems that soon won’t withdraw from its leading position. We have to admit that it comes as a real refreshment in relation to other trends that are filled with details, which can sometimes even be superfluous. Minimalism is based on the maxim “less is more” and offers exactly that – aesthetically shaped objects, which captivate with their simplicity and beautify your space.
One such object, appeared at the right time before Spring, and is work of designer Patricia Urquiola for Flos company. It is about Serena lamp, which with its sculptural form pays homage to nature with the help of its spotlight in the form of sheet, which stands at an angle just as we can see in nature.
This lamp is extremely minimalist, so causes organic and soothing feeling. Its cylindrical base is place in which is housed LED light source, as well as the point on which abuts against its dramatic reflector, which can be adjusted and direct the light in different directions. The lamp is available in versions with an aluminum, black nickel and copper finishing touches and a black base.
